I just got to play a live acoustic set for the first time in 19 years! I played "Circles" in a local talent contest. I got a recording of it, so I hope to have it posted to the site fairly soon. IT was a little scary getting out in front of people after being mostly left alone all these years! The audience really liked it, so I'm glad I have the chance to get these songs out to people. It would be nice if I had a full band, but these things take time. I'll be playing a much longer set at the Blue Pillar Creamery a week from Monday for open mic nite. If you're interested in seeing it, here's the link to a map & directions:

If you haven't had a chance to hear my new song "Frustration Blues," please go to my site and give it a listen. I think its the best song I've recorded so far. This is the link to the song page:

I'm co-writing a tune with Gary Neilsen in Axis 1 called "To Finally Tell You." When its done, I'll be sure to let everyone know. It has a really psychedelic quality to it.
I'd love to have some more reviews. There's places all over the I-net where you can review. One place in particular is MyMp3Network.com. Their whole focus is reviewing music and the more reviews a band gets, the more points they receive.

Axis 1 has just released a new CD under the Car Wreck Records label. You can listen to it at his JavaMusic site. Please visit the site and show your support. He is an outstanding songwriter. If you like what you're hearing, buy the CD!
Adenosine Tri-Phosphate is currently working on another CD due out in the spring. Their Guillstein soundtrack is available through Amazon.com and the DVD release of the film is due out any day now. You can hear them at: www.mp3.com/ATProom
Plans are in the works for Joyslam to record this Winter and a new CD is scheduled for release by mid-March. The new CD may as with Attitudinal, be a Multimedia CD. Musically there will be new styles from Hard Rock to Ska will give the band a stronger vibe and get them even more "Attitudinal" ! Hear Joyslam's music at www.mp3.com/Joyslam
Composer DeAnna Shaddy has finally got her mp3.com site up and running. Her sound is an intense blend of classical and modern sounds which can actually "photograph" a moment and convey its full emotional feeling. Take some time to listen to her music and, maybe even comment to her about it through her site. Sample it here: www.mp3.com/DeAnna_K__Shaddy
Ronald Silverlight a.k.a. MyndsEye has been steadily cranking out tunes for his site. A few months back, his site was shut down by mp3.com and he lost close to 40 songs. He's been rebuilding the site pice by piece and offered up some brand new tunes. My favorites are "Tell Me," "Son of A Gun," and "Jewels." I'm hoping he will re-load "Just For Me" since that's great song too. Hear him at www.mp3.com/MyndsEye

For all you guitarists out there, I came across the Dr Tube web site. If you haven't been there, there's some interesting information about the evolution of the Marshall sound and company history.
